Added CI GitHub Actions workflow and updated ESLint and Prettier configs #682

added CI workflow to help check for errors in code and standardise it
updated configs for Prettier and ESLint to current best practices

Fixes for failing CI tests should take place in future pull requests, with this one just adding the CI tests.

Hi @hossein-zare, hope you're doing well. Is there anything I can do to help you out with merging this PR? It's been a few weeks since I made it. It's the simpler of the two I made and should be straightforward, while still adding value.
