.mobi is not compatible #8

Hi,

I am using kindle app and it says the file is not compatible when I want to add it. My device is kindle scribe.

Hello. Yes, Amazon is cracking down on the mobi format.

On the other hand, Amazon Previewer which is used to create custom dictionaries, still exports books in mobi format.
In fact, official guide itself is instructing to export and use mobi format.

Until Amazon gets its act together, you can try converting it to epub format with tools like Caliber. I haven't tried this and can't be sure about the results.

P.S.: I'll keep this issue open until there's a reliable way to produce the dictionary in epub format.
