Metadata year-length and data-type don't seem to have any effect #21

I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding the README, but when i try to apply year-length or data-type metadata, it seems to have no impact. I confirmed that "age" tag works. When i looked through the code I can't find any reference to either of those meta-tags, so I'm not sure if it's not implemented or I'm misunderstanding how they are expected to work
