Currently we do like everyone else does and mark bridges with the darker casings along the bridge. This works fine at high zoom, but unless the bridge is very very long, at lower zooms it is basically invisible. Bridges are of huge importance to humanitarian response as they are often destroyed or limited to how much weight they can carry across them. My suggestion would be to add an icon to the bridge at lower zoom levels so that it can be seen. Same for fords, and tunnels as well.
