Noticed at http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=14/-11.7051/27.4791&layers=H that Katuba was in all upper case letters only at Z15; at z14 or z16-17, it was Proper-Case.
While peeking around the code, I see that the culprit is: https://github.com/hotosm/HDM-CartoCSS/blob/cfa45b87ed935fb993e1a74124234d5fc4a6d550/labels.mss#L228
@yohanboniface Was your intention to have the name upper case at zoom level 15 or greater? I presume that it is.
I don't understand why that styling isn't inherited for other applicable zoom levels but it's a carto idiosyncrasy that I've seen before.
I'm on lunch at work right now and don't have access to my development environment, so I can't test any of this for another 6 hours.
18 hours later, I'm unable to reproduce this on my local tilemill instance and on the HDM tile server. Place names are all capitalized at z=>15. weird. Will re-open this if I encounter this again.
