Square forests in Finland #227

I seem to have found another place with broken rendering. Look at Finland: http://hotosm.github.io/HDM-CartoCSS/#7/62.255/26.576

There is a big square forest in the right half of this picture and also another small one about one third from the top and from the left. It seems it's a problem in the OSM dataset, but it might be a global rendering glitch.

Unfortunately, this is a problem with the OSM Dataset itself. Someone had imported data (in this case, a forest) in a particular area and did not complete it for the entire area.

This problem occurs in other places (canada) where imports are not completed - http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=11/41.0229/-78.6995 and http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=13/47.0077/-83.9732 are two examples.

One possible workaround would be to decrease the visibility of the natural=forest at a very low zoom levels, (7 and lower). OSM-carto has done this - see: http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=7/47.070/-84.479 - standard and hdm in the same place. http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=7/47.070/-84.479&layers=H

But, once you go into higher zoom levels, you are sacrificing the ability to display the data on the map in order to satisfy a poor rendering.

Solving problem of incomplete dataset by not showing anything is rather poor solution.

BTW, one of the best things in this style for me is rendering of forests on wider range of zoom levels than on default style.

Closing because we can't really solve this on the rendering side.
