Fire hydrants without ref are not rendered #291

Is this a bug or a feature?

I've added two hydrants here, one near the building with reference number and one by the roundabout without. The first is rendered, the second not.

Weird. It's not a feature ;) I may also be missing because of something else (too close to a tile edge, too close to another icon, too close to another label…).

I've recently mapped several hydrants without ref, e.g. in this area, but none of them are displayed when zooming in.

It really seems to be related to the ref tag: I've added a reference number to this hydrant that was not rendered, and after a while it appeared on the map. Then, I've removed the ref tag ... and the hydrant symbol has gone.

Weird. May be how the data is imported in the DB, not sure which osm2pgsql style is used in the servers. @cquest any idea?
