Geolocation layer issue on base layer switch

Describe the bug On switching the base layer back to open layers, the geolocation point vanishes

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'mapper frontend'
2. Click on 'toggle geolocation icon'
3. The default layer is OSM, so switch to other layers, the geolocation layer is visible
4. But switching the layer back to OSM makes the geolocation point vanish

Expected behavior The geolocation point should persist although base layers are switched
