Update jekyll dependencies and fix atom feed #827

Changes: Apologies for the 2 changes in one PR, I can split out if necessary but I needed to ensure that the issue with the feeds wasn't related to the outdated dependencies.

A change to the config file I made a while back broke the Atom feeds on Slack. This should fix the links.
