11 years ago POI Layers could also be added to indicate various informations pertinent to a job. This could be Incident reports, Fixme reports, Crowsource Image indicators detecting particular features. The experience made by Nicolas Alvarez shows how interesting could be this approach. See http://stuff.povaddict.com.ar/mali-crowdsource/. The addition of a layer could be a way of integrating this with the task manager.
Feature request: It would be good if the tasks preview map could be changed to show different background layers. MapQuest tiles, Bing imagery, possibly custom imagery based on the task, etc.
I don't think this is exactly a deal breaker for the Tasking Manager, but it might be nice. The thinking behind it is that such a feature would allow a user to preview the work required on an individual task before taking it on.
