We’re creating this issue to share the initial wireframes for the Project List page - "Explore Projects".
Assumptions:
Our goal was to design a more streamlined filtering and sorting system that made it easier and simpler to choose a project. We also wanted to make this page more engaging and easy to digest.
What we did:
We've designed two versions for this page. One with the map at the top of the page and the other with the map on the side.
Filters, sorting, and search are permanently available in a sticky bar.
The user will be able to choose the project through the map or the cards at the same time (on the current page it is only possible to view one of the options at a time)
In the first version (map at the top of the page ), more cards are shown at a time, but the map disappears in the scroll.
In the second version (map on the side), there are fewer cards shown at a time, but the map is fixed. The user has the option of not seeing the map and then more cards will be shown.
Next Steps
While you review and compile feedback until next Wednesday, we’ll be working on User Profile and Login & Register pages.
