User Type -1 Volunteers (Remote/Armchair) Volunteers are the majority that contributes to Openstreet mapping. They are generally remote (away from the physical site of an organization) and beginner in the field. -Beginner (no previous experience) These volunteers are new to mapping and will like to explore the website and look out for learning material or tutorial. They can get confused as they are remote and not guided by a person. They can/can't be registered. These mappers may leave their map unfinished. They can't validate any complete map. They may also want to learn about mapping. -Intermediate (have experience) These volunteers have contributed to Openmapping several times before. They know what to do and have knowledge of the process. They can't validate any complete map. They may already know the project they have to work. -Advanced (can validate) They are Senior mappers. They can either contribute to make a map or validate a map done by beginner or intermediate mapper.

User Type -2
Project Manager - They create & update projects in the Tasking Manager. They will need to input all the data, high-resolution satellite image.

User Type -3 Participants in mapathons -University/School students -Office employees They can be a beginner or experienced, working with experienced mappers and IT person for troubleshooting.

Empathy Map This empathy map is of a beginner volunteer who is new to volunteer. This is derived from interviews of 3 volunteers of HOTosm empathy map final

Great work! For project manager in user 2, can anyone create a new project or do they need to have some type of title?

Rupali2412 commented 4 years ago
