Totally. He did. Often. :)

Cannot do much until someone implements this since all potential client applications are blocked on it. Considering this API was not actually designed with a real-world application in mind, one may choose to change it. It should not be considered done by any stretch of the imagination.

Also, for anyone looking at this, I have it assigned to me but I'd love help-- I'm trying to break things down into smaller sub-pieces as I get more familiar with the spec.
