Parse data from string #18

This PR adds an alternative method to the parser, to parse data from a string.

Note: I've removed the BOM from the Simcoe IPA.xml recipe, because it has caused problems with the tests for me. The other recipe files didn't had a BOM, so I decided to remove it.
