If you have an amulet of plot significance, add warning to equip it (like with Mohawk wig in top floor) when attempting to adventure in the giant castle basement
Since you can leave, equip the item, and re-enter the basement noncombats, warning there doesn't seem necessary. Maybe some text on the choice page to explain it.
