Want display name in from header #40

I would like to be able to specify a display name in the from header of the 
outgoing message. Right 
now, all I can do is specify:

from: email@domain.com

I would like to be able to specify

from: John Smith <email@domain.com>

If I try to set the fromEmail property to "John Smith <email@domain.com>", I 
get an error.
