clicktoplugin - url-problems on youtube related to youtube-dl? #179

Hello ,

i found that clicktoplugin on my imac g5 is no more playing videos that it did some time 1 - 2 months ago and am wondering why. as i have the program "media center ppc" installed i can use this instead as it allows me to pass video-url and then select whether to download or view or transform to mp3 it.

when i found a video that clicktoplugin would not handle giving me "unresolvable url " error i did then try with Media Center PPC and that gave me a long list of error related to Python ... at the end it said to update youtube-dl with command "Youtube-dl -U" ... after i did that now i can playback them super as it opens the Quicktime windows same as with Clicktoplugin ... only clicktoplugin seems to have more and more videos that are not playable ... maybe there is also possibility to "upgrade" youtube-dl internally?
