The HPC intro lesson is nice. However most Carpentries workshops are about 16 hours long and composed of 4 lessons of about 4 hours each, typically three of these lessons in a carpentries module are compulsory for a carpentries workshop. Having a choice of modules would be great. Some modules could be
hpc-intro - why you want to use HPC and how to submit a parallel job, the parallel job could be an embarassingly parallel task sweep leaving MPI to the hpc-programming module
sw-shell/hpc-shell - using the software carpentry shell lesson may save maintenance effort, using ssh can be put into hpc intro
hpc-programming - this could introduce MPI and other parallel programming models, possibly also GPUs
