However, this is too simple. There are many shortcuts that have different behavior with Ctrl or Alt on Windows. For instance, Ctrl + 0 focuses the search bar, but Alt + 0 clears the emphasis of the selected text. IIRC some other shortcuts currently do not work with Ctrl on Windows due to a VM bug. This needs clarification.
