values of NA when altmetric not active #10

Shall we set the data to NA for altmetrics that are not active? This would allow correlations to automatically only include valid data.

Do you want to do this in the data file itself? I think this would be cleanest and most appropriate.

From the Google doc:

Mendeley started Aug 2008
PLoS ONE Twitter data starts in Oct. 09, summer-ish 2010 for other journals
Postgemic/Nature blogs stopped indexing in 2009
ResearchBlogging started in 2009? And Pete says stats are now broken.
I thinkfew more? I’ll check.

Ok maybe this is actually a nonissue since we are normalizing for events in time... what do you think?
