I use the PortentaH7 with LoRa Vision shield but it is a bit big for biosensors. I realy like the Seeduino XIAO and just found out that a wiFi esp32 version is available on backorder to Dec 2022.
I am also working on WiFi local browser sensor data collection, local storage as well as Adafruit.io data storage, so that makes some sense. Another possibility is LoRa data collection as it is lower power than WiFi, but that means back to the larger PortentaH7
