Aren't notifications supposed to be optional? #78

I see a update note in 2015 indicating notifications are optional, but I see no setting anywhere to disable them.

I am running 1.5 and the option isn't there. I don't see a dev branch available. Am I supposed to follow the manual instructions listed there?

You can download a zip of the repo or clone it with git. But you have to install it as an unpacked extension in chrome://extensions/ (Developer mode needs to be turned on).

If you can't or don't want to do that you can follow the instructions in the linked comment to disable notifications manually.
