Distribution Channels? #244

First of all, this is not a technical question. I'm just curious where do you guys go to find free software nowadays? Some websites found Manta and added it to their site such as Softpedia and I think it's a good idea to reach out to them as well.

The thing is don't know much about this, so I need your input 😅

I have no experience in windows store, but I have seen many free applications https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/store/publish-apps

Hi @hql287 , were you considering Flathub with it's distributing format flatpak?

I think that it would be great way how to package Manta for most of the Linux distribution and provide updates.

I can try to package Manta for flatpak if you are interested, but I would like to disclaim that so far I don't have packaging experience with flatpak.

Hi @hql287 , you can also try Bitnami or Sourceforge.
