Ver 2.1.0b Appears really dark #1

If I click on the version 2.1.0b icon, the interface (for lack of a better word) that drops down is very very dark. Text looks nearly pure black but background seems like ~90% gray so nearly impossible to read the text. Blue outlines of buttons are visible. The menu for selecting the version does not initially appear to have text in it. Once I click on the triangles the choices become visible.

System info in graphic. I am not in "dark mode".

I just noticed that the app icon in the menu bar has a black (?) background when one changes the desktop background to something light (not in "dark mode").

Just to add my voice to this, have the same issue, super dark makes it difficult to make out.
