devtools::install_git("https://gitlab.com/hrbrmstr/ndjson.git") or updating ndjson package from source gives me:

*** arch - i386
Fehler in .shlib_internal(args) : 
  C++14 standard requested but CXX14 is not defined

Any ideas?
