json error #14

Hello!

I am getting the following error. Is this user error?

Error: lexical error: invalid char in json text.
                                       <!DOCTYPE html> <html lang="en-
                     (right here) ------^

Hello, this is a conflict between the current package on GitHub and updates to the GDELT API, from which the data originates. I've just submitted a pull request that should address the issue.

are you installing it from GH or CRAN?
