JSONSchema support? #1

I've been messing around with this tool, and I noticed that the docs mention support for generating json-schema specifications. I've tried the commands listed and checked the source, but there's nothing there to support json-schema.

You have every right to complain about this - I have been lazy and postponed inclusion of JSON Schema generation indefinitely. (It is a matter of adapting an existing JSON Schema generator of mine to the SHAX context.) Apologies! Please let me know if this is an important need of yours. In this case I'll try my best to add it very soon, and I would hope for your feedback.

Kind regards,Hans-Jürgen

Hi Hans-Jürgen,

No problem. I was investigating some SHACL related projects and was just curious. I don't actually have this need or use-case right now.

Cheers, HJ

Hello, Hidde-Jan, let me know should the need to generate JSON Schema arise. If anything else does not correspond to your expectations, please let me know  - I am dedicated to fix any bugs in SHAX when they emerge. Besides, I would appreciate any feedback, e.g. feature requests. For your information: I am currently working on integrating RDFe into SHAX. The idea is that once you have written a SHAX model, you can obtain a generated initial version of an RDFe document. (RDFe documents are declarative definition of the mapping of XML to RDF.) Cheers,HJ

No problem :)

I do have a question about RDFe. Do you know about RML? I’m currently investigating the automatic generation of both Shacl and RML from an OWL ontology. How would you compare the two?

Cheers, HJ
