Since all the download links are dead it would be nice to have build instructions so people can use this.

Oh nevermind! I actually found a release on archive.org's wayback machine so if you don't have the time (or just don't feel like it) you don't have to do this if you don't want to. Build instructions would be much appreciated either way.
