Lack of support and response on tomo SCO dicom object expansion. See the past correspondence with Hologic on the issue. RE Path to image table.txt

There is a new, alternative imaging format: BTO (Breast Tomosynthesis Object) which is a full size 3D stacked object. It's rather easy to use. See a intro and comparison: http://www.dclunie.com/papers/SIIM2013BreastTomoForum_Clunie.pdf

BTO could be a good alternative, but we would not have the projection images in this case. Projection images are definitely needed for our VBD code though, and we might also want to include them in our texture analyses.

Have we checked if we have BPO (mentioned by Celine in last phone call) which seems to be the new format for projection images?

I don't know. We can log on to SECTRA with @pantalol, pull out some studies and check what's available. Who can we contact to verify the modalities being saved in SECTRA/MACH7?
