I think we should target to do this with 2017 instead of 2014 because we will end up with a similar situation sooner rather than later. Let's try and grab someone with this version of MATLAB (or if @gastouna can install it on her system, it would be the best). Ideally, we need the Linux and Mac versions as well.
I would suggest all developers who are involved should be able to compile LIBRA in MATLAB R2017.
I am gonna write an elog to request for MATLAB installation.
@sarthakpati can provide more detail of the meltdown. This affects LIBRA. MCR that breaks in CaPTk should be of ver R2013a (8.1).
To do: get a newer version of Matlab (>2013A) and compile it again. Preferably the latest version so it goes further, but svm functions used currently in LIBRA were obsolete in MATLAB 2018. See #16. This would require some amount of changes and testing and may not be feasible in 1.5 weeks.
R2017 version would be ideal and still have the svm functions supported, but I don't recall anyone having R2017 on his/her PC.
R2014 is commonly found on lab members PC. We can try that too.
LIBRA compilation is a piece of cake. @gastouna could you please take on this with Sarthak down the road?
