I feel like the most logical interpretation of the newsletter commentary is that the track "Academy" (which is currently translated as "The Academy" on the wiki) was a collaboration composed by Toby Fox and arranged by Minako Adachi, and the other tracks with the motif are referencing that song. What's the motivation for updating the wiki to go against this?

South Province is (the main version of) the overworld theme Toby mentioned the Academy being arranged in to. South Province has a very distinct, unique take on the melody (barely recognizable from the academy itself). The changes made are from simply mis-recognizing references to this altered South Province melody as being references to The Academy directly

they still point to the academy indirectly, I just got the leitmotifs mixed up I recognized the melody, "it's academy" (it was south province)

i assumed this was because of that discussion about the "original" toby version not being public and was very confused by the apparent conclusion, lmao
