Migrate to pytest and enable python 3.10 #76

migrate tests from nose to pytest as suggested in #74
run tests on Python 3.10 and 3.11 and add those to supported versions
Update build-badge in readme with github actions badge

Thanks for doing the switch to pytest. But could you please split the "huge" change in some more commits like change to pytest, enable python 3.10 and python 3.11 for tests, fix buildstatus in README ...

So you have a lot of good changes but not described in the commit message.

Right, that will make the review easier and the commit log cleaner. I will split unrelated changes into smaller parts 👍

Done 😃 . This also fixed some mysterious line-ending-changes where I don't really know how that happened 🤨
