As an end user I want a widget that maps the birthplaces of contributors to volumes in the workset

On the back end:

• the widget retrieves the set of creator objects.
• for each creator object, the widget attempts to establish a set of geo-coordinates for the creator's place of birth:
  • attempt to resolve the name into a named entity in a trusted knowledge base
  • if the knowledge base includes place of birth,
    • attempt to resolve the place name into a named entity in a trusted knowledge base/gazetteer;
    • if the gazetteer includes geo-coordinates, retrieve the canonical coordinates
• compile the data into a list of JSON objects: [{ person_id, label (name string), lat_lang }]

Is Deren's widget what you would like us to implement? It doesn't do what I describe above.

@cwulfman Deren's version is at the country level and more of a proof of concept of being able to connect with an outside data source. Let's revisit this when it becomes of the focus of development.
