Frome email: The ability to have a distinct vibration pattern for every app, possibly morse code, so one can tell what wants attention without taking the phone out of their pocket.

Per-app settings are hard without significant rewrite of the app, however, I've added a setting to configure vibration pattern in #42. Hope this helps.
