Hi- Thanks for the comment. That was actually a deliberate choice I made since the second inversion chord on the tonic is most commonly interpreted as a cadential V6/4 chord in the common practice era. However, it can lead to some confusions when it is actually a I6/4 chord.
With that said, I do propose a solution where the I6/4 is put in parentheses beside the V6/4, or vice versa.
Ok, I understand, I thought it was a bug. However, I'm not an expert but I think that the I6/4 could also be a passing chord between e.g. IV6 and IV. Therefore it would make more sense to me to name it as a I6/4, because it is technically a I chord even if it may function as a V chord. But again, I am no expert, just an amateur pianist. Thank you for this really great app.
