@andreasbueckle @bherr2 We currently use 'body proper" UBERON:0013702 The region of the organism associated with the visceral organs. [ AEO : 0000103 ] "body system" is not a term in the ontology ;however, Uberon has "anatomical system" UBERON:0000467 Multicellular, connected anatomical structure that has multiple organs as parts and whose parts work together to achieve some shared function. [ http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/CARO_0000011 ]

I agree with Ellen, the definition of "anatomical system" from UBERON fits your "body system" definition.
