Dashboards custom tool icon

The HRA Dashboards website needs a custom icon. I will speak with Katy today about her expectations for the visual look/feel of the icon so that Ushma can design it.

@katyb is looking for something like a chart with an upward trendline, like this:

Ushma, can you please make my initial iteration look better and work with Katy to get an approved Dashboards icon? Please add it to the official Dashboard icon component when approved. This is due on June 3rd.

HRA Dashboards custom tool icon

Katy is looking for an icon showing a chart with an upward trendline. We use a Material Design option for the current/old HRA Portal in HuBMAP styles. We currently use the ASCT+B Reporter icon as a placeholder in the new Dashboards UI, so we need Ushma to create another custom icon.

Design Organization

The following tasks are to be completed by Monday, June 3rd, 2024:

  • [x] Design Dashboard icon options for Katy
  • [x] Iterate on Katy's feedback as needed
  • [x] Receive written approval from Katy on the Dashboard icon design
  • [x] Add/organize the approved icon to the tools icon component in the design system

• Role: Sole decision maker, approval provider
• Task:
  • Provide iterative feedback to Ushma to implement your vision
  • Send written approval to Ushma for the icon

  • Organize needs
  • Communicate needs to all parties
  • Add the approved icon from the design system to the HRA Dashboards file
  • Communicate the change to the development team
