Rebased #131 on latest to get it up on a demo.

I forgot all about this. So sorry. If I remember correctly there were still a few things we wanted to work out. Looks like those are outlined here.

You bet! If you want to pick this up again, feel free to force push this commit onto your original PR's branch and carry on; I'm not sure when the core team will have a chance to get back to it. I mostly just wanted to see how far you got with it. :grinning:
