[x] Section 5.1: "Here, we specify the task ID variables forecast date ..." missing an underscore here: forecast_date.
[x] Section 5.1, p 20: in the code for creating the ensembles, the arguments n_samples = 1e5, model_id = "lp-normal", are given on the same line for the lp_normal, but are split across two lines for lp_lognormal. Very minor point, but it would be nice to be consistent about this.
[x] Section 5.1, p 21: "Here, we score each unique prediction from an ensemble model, i.e., combination of task ID variables, against target data with the score_forecasts() function from the covidHubUtils package"
I found this phrasing a little confusing because it wasn't clear from the sentence structure what "combination of task ID variables" was describing. How about just omitting the phrase in the middle -- "Here, we score each unique prediction from an ensemble model against target data with the score_forecasts() function from the covidHubUtils package"?
[x] Table 10 caption: "The best values for each metric is bolded". Suggest "is" --> "are" or "values" --> "value"
[x] Figures 6 - 9: It would be good to indicate what date is used along the horizontal axis of plots with scores: the forecast date or the target date? Could do this in either the figure legend or an axis label
