Did you try to use the wizard "Betamax clone" (it is in world wide section)?
This wizard includes voipraider (cause it is actually a betamax clone). The
wizard will automatically setup things correctly for this provider.
So with this wizard should be easy to get something working directly :). In
fact some providers has special settings so I choose to make wizard for them.
VoipRaider (and all betamax clones) are one of them.

Yes, I tried to configure the "Betamax clone."
It was the information:
Account Name: Betamax
Caller ID: my user in VoipRaider
Authentication Name: my username in VoipRaider
Password: password in VoipRaider
Provider: VoipRaider
After entering the data appears:
Registering ...
and then
Error logging - Request Timeout

Are you using 3G data connection? If so are you sure that your mobile carrier
does not block SIP protocol?
Some providers in some countries block sip protocol cause they inspect packets
sent on their network. They can block sip, but usually they do not block other
proprietary protocols (such as the one used by numbuzz) cause they can't detect
what kind of traffic it is.
In this case, unfortunately nothing can be done. The only solution is to use
another provider that support protocols that your carrier does not filter out.
Nimbuzz is a solution, but all your datas will go through nimbuzz servers, or
you can try to find a sip provider that support encryption (SIP+TLS).

Great :)
Yes sometimes there is firewalls in the middle which make difficult to
understand why it does not connect.
It is one of the down side of the SIP protocol, but community is here to help
in these cases ;).
