Major flaw: mic is broken in r1051 !!! #1333

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install r1051 over r1050 and restore previous backup.
2. Either make a call (a test audio call would suffice) or receive a call.
3. There is no sound on the other party's earpiece (or yours, in case of a test
call). Mic is not picked up on my part.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Full duplex voice communication, as aways.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r1051, running on a Motorola Defy flashed with Gingergread

Please provide any additional information below.
I've tried some different mic settings, to no avail.

Additional information: calls through a bluetooth headset work flawlessly. It
means that r1051 affected only the phone's microphone. My phone's mic has not a
hardware problem, because I tested both normal phone calls and SIP calls
through Media5-fone softfone, and talked through the phone's earpiece and mic
(not BT headset), and everything was fine.
