I am also experiencing a significant delay. Using a Nexus One and WiFi.

Also experiencing significant delay (almost 1 sec), using Nexus One and WiFi.
Note
that a test with a Siemens SIP phone connected to the same network, using the
same
SIP servers, experiences no perceivable delay at all. This happens both with
direct
connection to the SIP server and using PBXes.org.

Same here, either on wifi or 3g. I have been using a SIP adapter as my main
home phone solution for more than a year and I do not notice any lag. The lag
using SipDroid on wifi is very noticable, around 1 second each way.

I report similar problem using the Galaxy S i9000.
Actually sipdroid report a delay of >140mS (the real relay
I measured is around 300mS on one way and 600mS on a loop-back call)

with Sipgate I experienced extreme (over 1 second) delays inbound and outbound

used sipgate (os 2.2) to create a pbxes account, and the delay is gone - but
there is now a delay in tones (when calling automated services, i.e. customer
support "press 1 for english" - by the time I press 1, the service times out)

So *almost* there!
