The idea to customize shortcuts came when I was more like poly modeling, using the F key to create faces, especially together with the F2 extension, where I deactivated the F shortcut of ND temporarily.
Depending on the subject to model and the workflow to choose, the user may want to switch to a certain preset, and later back to a previous one.
There could also be different presets shipped, for example a user that is used to shortcuts from a different software.
it could be related to https://github.com/hugemenace/nd/issues/60, though as far it looks this one here describes the ability to change hotkeys, that are shown when doing operations, like a for axis change
