The most common color blindness have problems of distuinguishing close blends of red and green. However there are more variants. In general try to avoid combining colors close to each other like red and onange. Green and teal. Blue and violet. And most bizare - green and red. In all types red and green are a problem. My type is dueteranop. There is a lot of pallet resources on this. Happy to hear youre working on it. Will grab it as electronic node is my fav asset :D
IDK if you know this but Chrome dev tools have lots of tools built in for stuff like this. Play around with them. This would be a good start. https://webdesign.tutsplus.com/articles/designing-for-color-blindness-with-chrome-devtools--cms-35827
