Force close on Android 2.2 (Froyo) - JIT issue (I suspect) #105

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to perform a sync on Froyo
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A normal sync is expected, application error message appears instead (The 
application SMS Backup (process tv.studer.smssync) has stopped unexpectedly. 
Please try again).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.1.1, on Android 2.2 Froyo (DeFroST 2.0b)
