Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0.2 SMS has stopped working #168

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to back up SMS 
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
SMS to be backed up. 
Unfortunately, SMS Backup has stopped. And nothing syncs

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SMS Backup 1.1.1  OS 4.0.2

Please provide any additional information below.
Not much else. Backups just completely fail

My phone also crashes upon hitting the backup button and trying to do the 
initial sync.  same version and SO as the original reporter.

I should have looked before I posted as this project has been dead for awhile. 
Anyway I switched to a fork of this project SMS Backup + loving it works great 
and does MMS to
