do you know what L^p means? (In Optimisation methods.) I suspect the average R Journal article reader won't know what this means, so it needs an explanatory few words.
The matrix describing the data object extends outside the tex of the html format. Can you reduce the width, removing some words in the right vector if necessary. Also the rows don't line up with the left matrix. Could the column labels be above the matrix, rather than look like elements of the matrix?
The animated gifs are a little too big. I think you've mentioned this to Mitch as a possible distill problem that needs fixing.
I think the space between bullet points is too large, but this is another distill format request. With latex we can adjust the space with a parameter setting. Ideally this can be done in distill too.
The pdf did not compile automatically, but I do see that there are two chunks for the animations and static, so it should have re-compiled the pdf. Perhaps I need to clear the cache.
Source code the the paper can be found at ??? in Acknowledgements
Why doesn't the Appendix show up? Appendix should generally be Supplementary material for the R journal. So needs to be in a separate document now, compiled, and the file names are entered in the submission form.
There are inconsistencies in the references. Some have full first name, some only initials. Needs to be consistent.
Some Figure references aren't showing up, eg first paragraph of Diagnostic 4b: Forming a torus.
Your answer to "While the previous few examples have looked at the space of 1D bases ... 2D bases" to simply change to "1 frame and 2 frame". Either this needs to be addressed everywhere or once and then the same term used.
