"Turn to the right" and "Turn right" #47

Are "Turn to the right/left" and "Turn right/left" different? If it is, the difference is not clear. If not, it might be better to use "turn right/left" for all these cases.

If the user seems to be walking, it says "turn left/right". ex. "approaching", "turn left" If the user seems to be standing, it says "turn to the left/right". ex. (user is facing different direction) "turn to the left", "proceed 15 meters and turn right".
