2) An 'enable camera' toggle that would integrate with a video capture API to get a couple random snapshots of the player (with their consent) and/or to allow the experimenter to monitor a videobank of players (more extreme but might be worth it for high-disruption games)

The streams API added in v2.4 will make this easier.
