Since we don't have much typographical control over the labels, they can really take up a lot of space as in the Endangered Languages map "Sum of Level of Endangerment (from Projects table). The result is unnecessarily obscuring quite a lot of the map visualization. Let's just put that label in a tooltip so that it's available interactively, but does not take over.

This will be important for the EL map view in particular.
